A fist-of-five check-in. Everyone taps the face that fits, from a frown (1, blocked) to a beam (5, all in), and the bars and the mood meter move as the answers land. Tap another face to change your reading. It sits in the palette's Ask category, one of the six Collaborate categories.
The label is the question; a new card asks "How are we feeling?". Double-click it to ask your own.
- The bars show how many people chose each value, with the count over each one.
- The mood meter under them runs cool to warm, with a marker at the average and the average itself, to one decimal, beside the number of people who answered.
- Empty, the card says "No readings yet" rather than drawing an average of zero.
The five values and their colours are fixed: fist of five is a ritual with a shared meaning, so the card doesn't offer a different range, and the colours don't change with the tab theme.
Editors and anyone on a Participant pass can answer. Viewers see the readings but can't add one, and nobody else's Ctrl+Z can take your reading back.
It is never hidden
This one is never hidden, deliberately. Watching the shape of the room appear is the reading: a flat 3 across the board and a split between 1s and 5s have the same average and mean opposite things. There is no reveal. To start a fresh reading, open the card's … menu and choose Reset Answers; the menu only appears once someone has answered. Like the other presses that run a round, it belongs to the facilitator while somebody holds that role.
