A Reveal zone is a cover you put over part of the canvas: answers, estimates, a retro column nobody should read early. It lives in the palette's Tools category, one of the six Collaborate categories.
Uncovering it
The cover shows its label ("Hidden" until you give it one, such as "Estimates") and says how to open it: "Double-click to reveal", or "Double-tap" on a touch screen.
Double-click (or double-tap) uncovers it on your screen only, with a small Hide pill in its corner to put it back. Two presses, so a stray click on a busy canvas doesn't give the game away; the Hide pill needs only one. Nobody else's canvas changes, and nothing is saved.
To take it off for everyone at once, right-click it and choose Reveal for All in its Reveal category; Hide for All in the same place puts it back over the room's screens. This one is saved with the document and can be undone, and it needs edit access.
While somebody holds the facilitator role, nobody else can peek: the double-click does nothing for them. The facilitator can still peek on their own screen, and uses Reveal for All to uncover it for the room.
It hides, it does not protect
A Reveal zone hides content from a reader's eye, not from a determined reader: everything underneath is still in the document, its exports and its API, so don't put anything genuinely private under one.
