Team Spaces

Browse the teams you belong to and their shared folders right in the Explorer, and keep an eye on pending invites.

Each team you belong to is a space of its own in the Explorer sidebar: a top-level row under Spaces, right after your own My documents. Expand a team to walk its shared folders, and keep your pending invites one click away. For the full picture of how teams, roles, and invites work, see the Teams guide.

Your teams

Each team you are a member of appears as a row with the team glyph, and a badge showing the member count once the team has more than one person. Click a team to open its page; expand it with the arrow to walk its shared folder tree without leaving the sidebar, and click a folder to open the team page with that folder already showing. A team with no folders yet has no arrow.

Team-shared documents live in a folder tree every member can manage, separate from My documents. The team page holds that library, the member list, a ⋯ menu to leave the team (admins can also edit or delete it there; the last admin can't leave until someone else is made an admin), and the team's own activity feed, which includes what happened before you joined. Admins invite people from the team page, by email or with Invite by link.

The editor's Explorer panel (behind the menu button) lists your teams too, so you can reach team documents without leaving a board.

Invites

While an invitation is waiting for you, an Invites row appears under your teams, with a badge counting them. Open it to see one card per invite, naming the team, its organisation and how many members it has, then Accept it (which takes you to the team page) or Decline it. The row goes away once nothing is waiting. You also hear about an invite by email, and it shows on the Timeline.

New Team

New team, the last row of Spaces, opens the New Team dialog: give the team a Team name and, if you like, an Organisation, then choose Create team. You land on the new team's page as its admin, ready to invite people. Each person you invite shows in the member list straight away, marked Invited, until they accept.

Signed-in only

Teams need an account, so team rows, Invites and New team appear only when you are signed in. Guests see a Sign in to access Teams card in their place ("Free, and your guest documents come with you"). On deployments configured without authentication, neither appears, since teams cannot exist without it.
