Tabs

Keep a whole project in one document: organise, link, and move between multiple boards with tabs.

Tabs

Multiple boards in one document: add, name, reorder, and switch between them.

Tab Folders

Group related tabs under one named folder chip on the tab bar.

Linking Across Tabs

Turn an element into a jump point to another tab, another document, or a web address.

Side by Side Tabs

Drag a tab to the right edge to open it beside the one you are on; the toolbars follow you.

Locking a Tab

Make a tab's whole canvas read-only so it cannot be changed by accident.

Add a Tab to Another Document

Add the active tab to another document you own; both share the same live tab.

Importing a Tab

Import JSON, a Mermaid diagram (flowchart, state, or ER), a Markdown outline, an Excalidraw scene or PNG / SVG export, or a draw.io diagram (a tab per page) into the active tab, or paste a drawing copied in Excalidraw onto the canvas.

Exporting a Tab

Export the active tab or a selection as JSON, a Mermaid flowchart, Markdown, an Excalidraw scene, PNG, SVG, or PDF: copy the text formats or set image options.

Cleaning Up a Tab

Tidy a tab from the command palette: snap to a grid, or auto-lay-out from the arrows.
